Hindwell Brook, Poplar and Hazel, 25m long


The articulated tree moves with the flow of the river. A stand of very straight poplar trees had recently been felled nearby, on the river bank. I worked with short sections of these trees, adapting a flexible joint that I had originally devised for Passing through No Mans Land in Fukuoka, Japan.
